Integration

BlueHill + Zoom

Connect Zoom to turn every scheduled meeting into a real Zoom call — automatically. Booking links and calendar events generate a Zoom meeting hosted on your own account, with the join link delivered to your customers in their confirmation email and calendar invite.

What it does

Auto-created Zoom meetings

When a meeting is scheduled in BlueHill — a calendar event or a confirmed booking — a Zoom meeting is created automatically. No copy-pasting links.

Hosted on your own account

Each user connects their own Zoom account, so meetings are hosted under their identity with their settings, plan limits, and waiting-room preferences.

Join links everywhere they're needed

The generated join URL is attached to the calendar event, the customer's confirmation email, and the .ics invite — so everyone has the right link.

Stays in sync

Reschedule or cancel a meeting in BlueHill and the underlying Zoom meeting is updated or removed to match. Recurring events get per-occurrence handling.

Works with scheduling links

Booking pages and customer-specific scheduling links generate Zoom meetings on the spot when a customer books a time with your team.

Org-wide or per-user

Connect individually, or have an admin configure a Server-to-Server connection for the whole organization. Either way, setup is a few clicks.

How to connect

1

Open Integrations in Settings

In the BlueHill app, go to Settings → Integrations and find the Zoom card.

2

Click Connect Zoom

You'll be redirected to Zoom's secure consent screen to authorize BlueHill.

3

Approve the requested access

Review the permissions and approve. Zoom redirects you back to BlueHill and the connection is saved.

4

Schedule as usual

Create an event or share a booking link — Zoom meetings are now generated automatically for you and your customers.

Permissions & data

BlueHill requests the minimum Zoom scopes needed to schedule meetings on your behalf. Nothing more.

meeting:writeCreate & update meetings

Lets BlueHill create, reschedule, and delete the Zoom meetings tied to your scheduled events.

meeting:readRead meeting details

Lets BlueHill read back the join URL and meeting details to attach them to events and invites.

user:readRead your basic profile

Identifies which Zoom account should host the meeting (your name and email on the account).

What BlueHill stores

  • An encrypted OAuth access & refresh token for your connection
  • Your Zoom account's basic identity (name, email) to resolve the host
  • The IDs and join URLs of meetings BlueHill creates on your behalf

What BlueHill never accesses

  • Cloud recordings, transcripts, or meeting chat
  • Your Zoom contacts or address book
  • Meetings you create outside of BlueHill
  • Account billing or admin settings

Removing the integration

You can disconnect Zoom at any time, from either side:

  • From BlueHill — go to Settings → Integrations → Zoom and click Disconnect. BlueHill revokes the token with Zoom and deletes the stored credentials for that connection.
  • From Zoom — sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace, open Manage → Added Apps, find BlueHill, and click Remove. This revokes BlueHill's access immediately.

Once disconnected, BlueHill stops creating Zoom meetings for new events and the stored tokens are purged. Existing meetings already on your Zoom account are not deleted.

All OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest, and traffic between BlueHill and Zoom is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3). For details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
